When You Feel Like You're Moving Slower Than Everyone Else
6/13/2026
Have you ever opened your phone, seen friends posting about new achievements, new jobs, new trips — and asked yourself: "Why am I still here?"
Today was one of those days for [the character]. A message in the old class group chat: someone just got promoted. [The character] put the phone down, looked out the window, and that familiar feeling came back — the feeling of running slower in a race that everyone else seems to be in.
But then [the character] remembered something: the tree on the path to work today was blooming, even though just last week it was just an ordinary tree. Nobody noticed. Nobody took a photo. But it was still growing, at its own pace.
Not everyone blooms in the same season. Some bloom early, some bloom late — what matters is that you're still growing every day, in your own way.
Which "season" are you in right now? Leave a comment — maybe today is the day someone else needs to read those words.
